iCape’s – Privacy Policy
S Squared Technologies Ltd., d/b/a iCape (“iCape” “We” “Our”) takes your privacy very seriously. We are fully committed to our user’s (“you” “your”) privacy, and to protect the data we collect. iCape honors your personal preferences and provides you with flexibility to control or remove your Personal Information (as defined below).
Any term not specifically defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to it in iCape’s General Terms and Conditions, as may be updated from time to time.

iCape provides the iCape Solution, which can read, decipher, and analyze data relating to the Customer’s selected specified business, and providing alerts and recommendations, depending on the Operational Tools and the Monitoring Tools selected by the Customer. The term “Visitor” shall mean the individual who visits either iCape’s website available at www.icape.io (the “Website”) or the Customer’s physical site (“Site”; collectively, the “Services”).

Generally, with respect to the provision of its iCape Solution, iCape is considered a “Data Processor” (as defined under the General Data Protection Regulation, the “GDPR”; or any similar meaning definition under local legislation) and thus operates the iCape Solution and collects data of Customer’s Visitors, on behalf of the Customer, and the Customer shall be considered a “Data Controller” (as defined under the GDPR; or any similar meaning definition under local legislation). With respect to the operation of the Website, iCape is considered a “Data Controller”.

If you are a Visitor using the Website, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you are a Visitor whose data is collected by a certain Customer, by means of the iCape Solution, this Privacy Policy will elaborate on the collection of your data and the rights you obtain with respect to such collected data.
Device
You can access the Services through various Devices. A “Device” is any digital device used to access the Services, including without limitation a desktop, laptop, mobile phone, tablet, or other consumer electronic device. This Privacy Policy governs your access of the Services, regardless of how you access them, and by using our Services you consent to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure and other uses described in this Privacy Policy.
The Personal Information We Collect:
The information that might be collected by iCape is of the following nature: (i) non-personal information - which includes information from which you cannot be identified; and (ii) “Personal Information” which means - information that can personally identify you as further detailed below.

Website Visitors
We may collect, record and analyze your Personal Information if you are a Visitor of our Website. Such Personal information will be collected, only if received voluntarily by you, when you complete the forms available on the Website, for the purpose of contacting us or signing up for information and newsletters.

Such Personal Information may include your IP address, first and last name, your postal and email address, your telephone number, your job title, your areas of interest, interest in iCape’s products, and certain information about the company you are working for (company name and address), any other information you provide voluntarily, as well as information as to the type of relationship that exists between iCape and yourself.

iCape also aggregates data about visits made on the Website, including numbers of Visitors and visits, geo-location data, length of time spent on the Website and pages clicked on or visited.

Sites’ Visitors

When a Customer uses the iCape Solution, your picture and movement might be captured by the Customer’s CCTV system and thereafter processed by the iCape Solution as part of the provision of iCape Solution to the Customer, and according to its instructions.

Customer’s Representative
When you are engaging iCape as a representative of a Customer, we might collect your full name, telephone number, email address, and job title, to provide the Customer with our Services.
How We Use the Information We Collect:

Provide you with iCape Services. iCape analyzes Personal Information to operate the functionality of the iCape Solution. All of iCape analysis processes and data storage are completely automatic and we ensure that no one but the Customer or our applicable representative can access the stored data.

Develop and improve iCape Services. iCape uses the collected information in a statistical, non-personal form to analyze the way users use the Services. The analyzed information is used to improve existing functionalities of our Services and to develop additional functionalities.

Maintain iCape’s systems. We’re using the statistical, non-personal information to ensure all parts of the iCape system are working as intended.

Secure our products. We may use statistical analyzed information to protect and secure our Services.

Internal data analyses. We use statistical, non-personal information to better understand how our Services are being used.
Disclosure of Information and Transfer of Data
Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, iCape reasonably attempts to ensure that iCape shall never intentionally disclose any of your Personal Information, to any third party without having received your permission, except as provided for herein or otherwise as permitted or required under law.

In order for iCape to perform contractual and other legal responsibilities or purposes, iCape may, from time to time, be required to share your Personal Information with third parties. Additionally, iCape may share your information with iCape’s affiliates, subsidiaries or any third party service providers and individuals to facilitate Services or any portion thereof, such as marketing, data management or maintenance services. In particular, iCape will share your Personal Information with Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Services (and might further share it with other notable cloud services providers in the future), which will securely store your Personal Information.

When you use the Services, iCape may also share your information with analytics service providers for analytics services. Such analytics service providers set their own cookies or other identifiers on your Device, through which they can collect information about your usage of the Services. This helps iCape compile aggregated statistics about the effectiveness its Services.

The above-mentioned third parties may be located in countries other than your own, and iCape may automatically transmit them applicable Personal Information that it receives. When such third party service providers process your Personal Information on iCape’s behalf, iCape will assure that they comply with obligations similar to those which are set forth in this Privacy Policy. iCape will also assure that they will abide by iCape’s data privacy and security requirements and will be allowed to use the Personal Information solely for the purposes set forth by iCape.

When such information shall be transferred, iCape will use highly secured, and privacy protected means. iCape will release specific information in special cases, such as for example: if you use the Services to perform an unlawful act or omission or take any act or omission that may damage iCape, its property and goodwill; or if there is an attempted breach of the security of the Services or a physical or property threat to you or others.

Generally, with respect to information collected on our Website, iCape is a “Data Controller”. With respect to information collected in the course of the provision of the iCape Solution, iCape is a Data Processor acting on behalf of a Customer, which uses the iCape Solution. With respect to data subjects, for detailed information concerning the exercise of rights and protection of privacy of video surveillance, individuals may contact the entity conducting the surveillance. It is the Customer’s (the Controller) responsibility to ensure that collection and processing of data is conducted in accordance with applicable law.

You have the right at any time to request to access or modify your information. In some jurisdictions, in particular those located within the European Union (the “EU”) or within the European Economic Area (the “EEA”), you may be afforded specific rights regarding your Personal Information. Data Retention

Generally, iCape does not retain information longer than necessary to provide its Services and for its reasonable business and lawful needs. If you have provided your information to iCape as part of your association with a Customer, we may retain such information to fulfill any contract between iCape and the Customer or to provide the Services to the Customer.

Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 16. iCape does not, knowingly or intentionally, collect Personal Information about children who are under the age of 16. Without derogating from the foregoing, and subject to the requirements of the applicable law, some users may use the Services if consent of a parent or a legal guardian was provided and they agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy.
